The Civitan Handicapped Intervention and Prevention Program is designed to encompass the many service projects of state-wide Civitan clubs benefiting the handicapped. The Mr. CHIPP logo expresses our number one purpose: "People Who Help People" through their volunteer time and service to others.

The Civitan clubs of Michigan participate in the "CHIP in for C.H.I.P.P®" fundraiser in April which raises money for the clubs' commitment to helping citizens with mental and physical disabilities. All monies raised can provide educational, entertainment, recreational and athletic programs, materials and learning aids for handicapped and developmentally disabled citizens C.H.I.P.P®. is the hallmark of Civitan.
